Masih melanjutkan postingan sebelumnya di #AFX2012, pada hari Jumat 18 Mei di Audi Fashion Festival, masih ada Fashion Show Future Fashion Now di Tent @ Orchard pukul 8 malam waktu setempat. Sehari itu terdapat lima fashion show berbeda sejak pukul 2 siang. Tiga disainer yang akan memamerkan karyanya di Show kali ini berasal dari luar Singapura. Siapa sajakah mereka?
Jonathan Simkhai
Simkhai is a New York born and raised fashion designer. His love affair with fashion began at early age of 14 when he started working at clothing store assisting and honing his skills as a buyer. He later went on to study at Parsons as well as at FIT (fullname).
With the launch of the first womenswear collection under his name, Jonathan Simkhai presents his take on sophisticated dressing for modern, cosmopolitan woman. As gender lines blur whitin the realms of fashion and sexuality, Simkhai’s collection indulges in this ambiguity. Charged by men’s fashion mores and taking inspiration from beautiful Italian and Japanese fabrics like cashmere, wool, cotton and silk, Simkhai collection brings forth classic codes translated into sexy and feminine silhouettes.
